Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Evangelos Leivaditis ("Cravedit", "we", "us", "our") for your use of the Cravedit app and related services. By creating an account or using Cravedit, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Cravedit.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Cravedit. By using the app you confirm you are 18 or over and that you can form a binding contract. If you use Cravedit on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. Your account

You can register with an email and password (through Supabase Auth) or with "Sign in with Google". You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You must give accurate registration information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms (see Section 6). You can delete your account at any time from Settings; see our Privacy Policy for how deletion and retention work.

3. Your contributions and the licence you grant us

"Contributions" means anything you submit: votes on price, stock and existence; stores and drinks you add or suggest; favourites; your display name, bio, social links and avatar; drink-request photos; reports; and any other content.

You keep ownership of your Contributions. By submitting them, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (for example to fuzz coordinates or resize images), publish, display and distribute your Contributions in connection with operating, promoting and improving Cravedit. This includes showing your Contributions on the public map and, where relevant, on our website and the public leaderboard. Because Cravedit is a shared community map, some Contributions may remain in the map in de-identified form even after you delete your account (see the Privacy Policy).

You promise that your Contributions are yours to share, are accurate to the best of your knowledge, and do not infringe anyone's rights or break the law. Do not upload photos of people without a lawful basis, and avoid capturing bystanders where you can.

4. Points, VIP and rewards

Points: you can earn points for activity such as contributing and inviting friends. Points have no cash value, are not money, are not your property, and cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for cash. We may adjust, expire or reset points, and we may change how points are earned, at any time. You can also earn a capped number of points by choosing to watch a rewarded advertisement — how ads and your data are handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Rewards: points are an in-app score used for levels, leaderboards and clan features. Points are not redeemable for cash, gift cards or any real-world value. We may withhold, adjust or reverse points we believe were obtained through fraud, error or abuse.

VIP: VIP is a paid subscription that unlocks extra features. VIP is billed through the app stores — Google Play on Android and the Apple App Store on iOS — under their terms, and they (not us) handle payment, renewals and refunds. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel in your app-store account settings. Prices and benefits may change with notice as allowed by the app stores.

5. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

You agree NOT to:

• submit false, misleading or spam data, or vote or contribute dishonestly;
• cheat or game points, streaks, leaderboards, referrals or rewards, including multi-accounting, bots, automation, spoofing your location, or exploiting bugs;
• use an offensive, hateful, harassing, deceptive or impersonating display name, bio, link or avatar;
• harass, threaten, defame or abuse other people, or post unlawful, hateful or sexual content;
• upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes intellectual property or privacy;
• scrape, crawl, bulk-download, reverse engineer, or attack, overload or interfere with the service;
• bypass security, rate limits or moderation, or access accounts or data that are not yours;
• use Cravedit for any unlawful purpose.

6. Moderation, reporting and suspension

You can report other users and content from within the app. We may review Contributions and account activity, and we use automated systems (including a trust score; see the Privacy Policy) alongside human review. We may remove content, reduce the weight of your votes, limit features, withhold rewards, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms or harm the community, with or without notice where appropriate. If an automated decision significantly affects you, you can request human review at privacy@cravedit.com.

7. Stores, brands, health and data-accuracy disclaimers

(a) Crowdsourced data. Cravedit is crowdsourced. Prices, stock, discounts, store names, types, opening details and locations are community estimates submitted by other users — they may be outdated, wrong, incomplete or, despite our moderation, deliberately false, and map positions may be approximate or fuzzed. The information is not ours and we do not independently verify it. Always verify in store before relying on anything in the app, and treat every listing with caution. We are not responsible for prices charged, products stocked, store details, or any reliance you place on Cravedit data.

(b) No affiliation with stores or brands. Cravedit is an independent app. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or partnered with any of the shops, kiosks, supermarkets or other outlets shown, or with any energy-drink manufacturer or brand. Product names, brand names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify products; their appearance in the app is not an endorsement by, or of, those owners.

(c) Store visits are at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and conduct when travelling to, visiting or dealing with any store, vendor or person you find through Cravedit. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for anything that happens to you or others at, or on the way to or from, a store; for any transaction or dispute with a store; or for any loss arising from acting on a listing that turns out to be inaccurate, out of date, fake or missing.

(d) Energy drinks and your health. Cravedit only helps you find where products are sold — it is not health, dietary or medical advice and is not an encouragement to consume energy drinks. Energy drinks contain caffeine and other ingredients that are not suitable for everyone (for example children, pregnant or breastfeeding people, and people sensitive to caffeine or with certain health conditions). Consume responsibly and only within the quantities and guidance recommended by the food-safety and health authorities in your own country, and follow the manufacturer's label. Some products or pack sizes may be age-restricted, regulated or unavailable where you live. If in doubt, consult a healthcare professional.

8. Intellectual property

Cravedit and its software, branding and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors and others under their own licences (see the in-app Credits). Except for the rights expressly granted here, we give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app, and reserve all other rights.

9. "As is" disclaimer

Cravedit is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data is accurate. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Cravedit. Our total liability for any claim relating to Cravedit is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 EUR. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights that the law gives you which cannot be excluded.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, and disputes will be subject to the courts of Greece, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves or the law changes. If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Cravedit after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
